Mr. Spencer received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Roanoke College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. A native of Hampton Roads, he practiced at large law firms in both Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. prior to joining Cooper, Spong & Davis.

Mr. Spencer maintains a robust business practice in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Land Use and Zoning and is a member of the firm’s Business and Real Estate Sections.

Mr. Spencer is licensed to practice in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Georgia and is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Washington, D.C. State Bar, and the Georgia State Bar. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Portsmouth General Hospital Foundation.
