Cooper, Spong & Davis was founded in the early 1950s by former U.S. Senator William B. Spong, Jr. and former Lieutenant Governor Richard J. Davis. In 1963, their practice merged with Clyde W. Cooper’s to form the present Cooper, Spong & Davis.
